Our History
In December 2002, we opened Ray’s Marlin Beach Bar & Grill in Pittsburgh, Pa. Our concept was to bring the Florida lifestyle to Pittsburgh both in atmosphere and food. It worked so well that in 2003, the Pittsburgh Post Gazette selected Ray’s as one of Pittsburgh’s Best New Dining Spots. We loved everything but the weather so we sold Ray’s in January 2007 and headed back to our roots.
Loving the restaurant business, we decided to do it again...only this time, we’re bringing a touch of Pittsburgh to Florida. At Ray’s Steel City Saloon we make everything from scratch, creating an eclectic menu of traditional Pittsburgh fare mixed with Florida favorites. Continuing the tradition of Ray’s Marlin Beach Bar & Grill, we use the freshest ingredients. Our French baguettes are flown in and baked daily on the premises. All our sauces, dressings, and dips are HOMEMADE as well as our potato chips, horseradish coleslaw, potato salad, and HAND CUT fries and onion rings. And what saloon would be complete without an extensive beer and liquor selection?
Here at Ray’s Steel City Saloon we’ve created a unique dining alternative for Tallahassee.
Sit back, relax and ENJOY!
